Great! July 8, 2008 It is keeping me motivated to move more. I just ran my first 5k last week.
Overall, a good pedometer July 8, 2008 I've used this pedometer for about a month now. The step count is accurate expect if I use it while on the treadmill. When I walk on the treadmill, the mileage is about a mile off. The "reset" button is also a problem. My seat belt has accidently pressed the reset button a few times. Now I make a point to reposition the pedometer when I get in the car. Overall, I've enjoyed this pedometer and would recommend it to others.
Good value July 8, 2008 Great pedometer, large easy to read screen, simple to move within the different functions, good price.
Excellent! Highly recommended July 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is one of the best pedometers you can buy and the price on Amazon is very reasonable. The unit is a little larger than some other PM's, but light. I usually clip mine on my belt, be sure to use the safety lanyard. Very accurate, I make most use of the steps counted and the aerobic steps taken. As with all pedometers, the calories burned and distance traveled are estimates. It is absolutely quiet, no rattles or clicking noises at all.
This is a pizeelectronic device and consumes more battery power. But it is is more accurate in counting steps taken at a slower pace than spring-levered PM and wont wear out as fast. With a spring levered PM the spring will start to wear out after 1 - 1 1/2 years. You wont have to keep buying new pedometers, buy you will need to keep buying batteries. Look for a good deal on batteries and keep several on hand. Battery should last about 6 months and the battery has a shelf life of 5 years. If not used, it can sit for 5 years and still be good.
You cannot buy a better pedometer at or near this price. I am happy with mine and would not hesitate to buy another. One of the best deals on Amazon and has been one of Amazon's top sellers in the health field.
it's all you need! July 7, 2008 This is a great gadget for tracking your miles walked. I have found it to be quite accurate; easy to program and easy to use. The little "safety clasp" is a great feature just in case the pedometer would ever accidently become unclipped. Another nice thing is that once you set the time, at the beginning of every day, the mileage sets back to 0.00 and is ready to go for the day. I believe it has a 7 day memory. I am very pleased and have had a number of pedos in the past (too hard to program, too bulky, hard to read, inaccurate, etc.)
