It is truly amazing. No razor burns, no bleeding and no need to use bandages. Very smooth comfortable shave. Use a Welshi safety razor; a good shave cream like King of Kings is a good addition and a balm rather than a alcohol based after shave and you have the ingredients for an a great shave. There is also a video lesson on the internet on to shave with a double edge shave and I would highly recommend watching this video. The forums on the internet give Welsi a high rating for quality, balance and gentleness. Many experts compare this Welshi to the old Gilette Super Speed only better in weight, balance and performance. A great engineered razor for the money. Also the travel case is nifty for trips.

I just bought this one after reading about wet shaving in ReadyMade Magazine. In addition i bought a shaving brush and a shaving soap bar from Herban Cowboy. I just got the best shave of my life. It's so gentle and i had NO razor burns for the first time in my life! I can't believe that Gilette has a total hold on the market with those useless triple blades. Old school wet shaving is the way to go!

This is not a bad razor, it is very "safe" to use compared to other razors of this type for the beginner DE shaver. I am not sure at this point if it is simply the blades that came with it or if it is the razor itself, but I find that I do not get as close a shave as anticipated. My experience with it so far is that it is not any better than my old Gillette Sensor. I plan on trying different blades in the near future, but as it stands (as shipped) it is just "O.K." It has more of a rattle to it with the blade in place compared to some of the other DE razors that I have used, but it is also 1/2 the price.
Good service from the company though. Razor came quickly and as advertised.
