4 out of 5 stars Great Fashion Police   June 8, 2009
I previously received this magazine on a trial offer for only 4 months. I knew I wouldn't want to reorder - WRONG. I found myself missing the makeup secrets and fashion ideas. Great little magazine.

4 out of 5 stars So, you think you have style ;-)   June 7, 2009
Any woman who claims she buys fashion magazines for the articles...is like the man who says he "reads" Playboy...Let's be real: if you get your retirement money advice from Cosmopolitan or Vogue, you have only yourself to blame when you end up on social security while your friends play shuffle board on Jamaican cruises...

As for me, I want to see the clothes "the better half" of this world are wearing and find ways in which I can emulate the looks. I want to know what's new in skin care, and is it safe to retire (once again) my 80's "hammer" pants...I don't have the money to experiment, nor the time or inclination. In-Style comes in handy. It has the necessary photos to enable even someone as fashion challenged as myself to connect the dots and roll out of the house looking fairly 21st century... The missing star is for the small content specifically directed at the over 35 crowd...

5 out of 5 stars InStyle   May 22, 2009
I have subscribed to this magazine since it came out and I doubt that I will stop now. It is a great source of fashion, Hollywood happenings, and assorted articles on up and coming ideas and fashion.

4 out of 5 stars great magazine, took longer than expected to begin   March 25, 2009
The magazine, which I was already very familiar with is great however it took a month longer than stated to begin; unlike my order through Amazon for the Oprah magazine which started several weeks earlier than I had expected. Love them both. Very competitive prices on Amazon. I will order through Amazon Again.

2 out of 5 stars Could Be Classier   January 23, 2009

The beauty features of InStyle are very good, but much of this publication is only a step or two above tabloid trash. Why should entertainers be the standard on which the rest of us choose to look, dress, eat and live? Why are they the authorities? Why can't InStyle show clothes on real models? And, finally, why are so many of the clothes so ugly?
