Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This emollient moisturizer was formulated with borago seed oil and wild yam to help balance the skin's moisture level and restore its moisture balance. The ultra-rich, non-greasy formula helps seal in your nighttime treatment products while helping to improve the overall smoothness of the skin. Antioxidant rich, this smooth cream helps soothe the skin and protect it from free radical attack.

5 out of 5 stars Good stuff   February 26, 2008
I've been using this product since it came out a few years ago. I really miss it when I run out because my face becomes very dry. It really helps with dryness, fine lines and wrinkles. It's worth the price. Also, I always order via Amazon and whether it comes through Philosophy or Sephora, it's always here within a few days. Good stuff!

5 out of 5 stars Love this product!   February 1, 2007

I use it in the morning as well as evening as I love the thicker cream. It smells nice and nourishes my skin. I even notice that the fine lines are not as noticeable at 42! thanks for a great product, I get nervous when I run low! I always have it wherever I go. I only wish they made the day cream with SPF the same way.

5 out of 5 stars smells beautiful, plumps and hydrates the skin, great ingredients!   August 10, 2006

I love the fragrance of this cream. It is very, very thick. It actually seems a little odd how thick it is, but when you put a little on your fingers (a little bit goes a really long way), it becomes blendable and goes into the skin very smoothly. Like all Philosophy products, the ingredients are really impressive, and I love the idea of borage oil (I take it as a food supplement too). If your skin is at all dried out, this really plumps it up and moistens it immediately. I will be using this during the winter on the dryest parts of my face and neck. But I did notice a few small blemishes under my cheekbones after using this product for about a week, so "Hope in a Jar" moisturizer is still probably best choice for skin prone to breakouts.

5 out of 5 stars Very nice!   December 9, 2005

I have and use several moisturizers by Philosophy. When Hope Is Not Enough night cream is very dense, but is absorbed quickly, and doesn't give me breakouts. Because of the herbal extracts in it, the sensation is like giving my face a cup of herb tea right before bed. It's extremely relaxing, kind of reminds me of lavender, rosemary and chamomile. The fragrance dissipates quickly, and I really like it, but if you are extremely sensitive to fragrance you may want to try good ol' Hope In A Jar (either the regular or the one for Dry, Sensitive Skin). I alternate based on how my skin feels each day, sometimes it needs more moisture, sometimes more "brightening." I use most of the products in the line and don't have complaints about any of them.

5 out of 5 stars I LOVE IT!   September 1, 2005

This is really a great product. I have been using it for about 6 months now, and I really see a diference on my skin. It took a long time to find such a product. I have tried many other expensive brand names and none worked as well as this one. My skin has a glow that I really enjoy. Thanks Philosophy for this great product. I really recommend this product as well all other skin care Philosophy items.
