Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This is a modern fragrance that captures the timeless couture spirit of Dior. A new interpretation of the original Miss Dior fragrance, Miss Dior Cherie combines pure couture spirit with the audacity of youthful, playful notes for a fresh approach to a timeless classic. Notes of chic, green tangerine, violette, and pink jasmine mingle with soft patchouli, musk, and delectably sweet strawberry leaves and caramelized popcorn for a delicious scent that's truly irresistible.

2 out of 5 stars not what i expected   August 18, 2008
all the reviews I had read madet this sound like it was a great smeeling cologne. It is very strong and tends to give me and everyone around me a headache.

5 out of 5 stars Subtle, sweet and delicious   May 17, 2008
I just got this perfume today and I love it. It is subtle, but who wants a fragrance that is over powering? Not me, I hate smelling like chemicals. It is sweet but not sickly sweet; the musky notes balances out the fruit fragrances. I agree with the others, I don't smell the caramel corn. It is however a very warm fragrance, with a scent that makes me feel cozier in my own skin. I understand the target demographic is late teens/ early twenties but don't let that scare you. I'm a little over that demograpic and I believe it translates well into adulthood. This is a nice natural substitute for the standard designer perfumes.

5 out of 5 stars My FAVorite perfume!   January 2, 2008
I love, love this perfume. Everyone who smells it on me goes out and buys it.

5 out of 5 stars Lovely!   December 7, 2007

I bought this perfume a couple of weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. The bottle, while hardly the reason anyone really buys perfume, is lovely to look at and looks pretty on my counter.

I also didn't really pick up on the caramelized popcorn, but the tangerine and strawberry are very prominent and crisp, and it dries down soft with a hint of jasmine. Very feminine and perfect for any occasion, really. I wear it to work and get lots of comments and compliments on it.

One word of warning, though- use this sparingly! Since it's an eau de parfum rather than the more watered down eau de toilette, you need far less to go a long way. I spray a little on my neck in the morning and it lasts me all day.

3 out of 5 stars Not too bad   October 21, 2007

While Miss Dior Cherie is indeed pretty, it's still too commercial for my taste. While wet, the strawberry leaf is most prominent. The drydown isn't as nice, though. It's mainly musky florals (mostly jasmine) and the stereotypical scent of designer perfume. I'm not huge on floral scents, nor the alcohol base most commercial perfumes use.

I don't find it especially sexy or feminine. It's commercial and overdone and the pretty notes are drowned out. I may have spoiled myself on perfumes from BPAL and MMU Cosmetics, but regardless of the reason, Miss Dior Cherie just doesn't do it for me.
