  Soft and great shade for fair skin July 5, 2008
This is my new favorite lipstick. I needed something that doesn't shout "look at my lips" and was moisturizing. This doesn't dry out my lips at all.

My friend and I were walking through Macy's; we lingered for just a moment too long and BAM!, the Bobby Brown Makeup Lady got me! Long story short, I went back for a personalized makeup session and became hooked on the Ruby Lip Sheer. I am an African-American woman with a medium-dark skin tone, and this color is perfect for me! It gives just a hint of color and a smooth, fresh, fabulous, long-lasting finish that looks like my lips, only better. Not only do I love the look, I always get compliments on the color. Wonderful product!

This is probably one of my favorites along with Coco lipstick of Bobbi Brown. This sheer color basically works with anyone. I found out the JFK Jr's wife used this product color specifically - her only color - and I followed her fashiong routine, etc. I am Asian American so my coloring is quite different than her, but it worked on me just as well as it did on her. You can't go wrong with it. It is a perfect color to try when you aren't to familiar or comfortable with lipstick.

This is one of my favorite products from the Bobbi Brown line. I have the following colors in the lip sheer: Cranberry, Plum, Ruby. None of the colors are too harsh; the Ruby color is not a shockingly bright red, its a subdued, sheer, ruby, almost like a light stain. It gives your lips a natural, healthy looking color. This does not go on too thick, it glides right on and it does not have an evasive smell. I highly, highly recommend these lipsticks.
