Unusual and enjoyable April 29, 2007
These little biscuit sticks have a very authentic black sesame flavour, though I don't know the other flavours in them so well, so I don't recognize them. Basically, it's a wee bit nutty, definitely toasted tasting, and a bit sweet too. They are an odd grey colour, and the initial smell is quite strong and grainy, but don't be put off, it's how they're supposed to be. A bubble tea place near me makes a hot black sesame drink that's excellent, and is much like these, but less portable.
