Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Great for cooking. Campbell's invented condensed soup in 1897 by eliminating the water in canned soup, resulting in less expensive packaging, shipping, and storage. Some of the most popular varieties of Campbell's Soup have been enjoyed by generations of soup lovers: Tomato was introduced in 1897, while Cream of Mushroom and Chicken Noodle first appeared in 1934. Americans consume approximately 2.5 billion bowls of these three soups alone each year. Over the last century, the company has evolved to fit into a variety of markets. The condensed line now includes Cream of Broccoli, Double Nooodle, and Creamy Chicken Noodle. Today, Campbell markets almost every style of soup imaginable, from "Chunky" to "Home Cookin'" to "Simply Home" Ready-to-Serve soups. The Campbell name is known from the U.S. to China, Australia, Argentina, and beyond. Though Campbell's Soups have found their way into homes thousands of miles from company headquarters in Camden, New Jersey, they still bear the name of the man who made his mark selling soup from a horse-drawn wagon -- Joseph Campbell. Even though Campbell's Soups are available in virtually every grocery or market in the country, we take pride in offering varieties that are often somewhat scarce and difficult to locate.
